
Anna is a fully qualified, insured and professionally registered counsellor and psychotherapist in private practice and COSCA accredited clinical supervisor. She is also a trained addiction and grief counsellor having worked in both these fields prior to setting up in private practice.
Previous career history includes stage management in community theatre before going on to work in community development. The main focus of this was to to promote social inclusion through equal opportunities and challenge systematic social injustice through a range of adult education, community capacity building and youth work initiatives. This included work with addictions services, homelessness, bereavement, criminal justice, youth rehabilitation and domestic violence groups. Anna has also worked in International Development and championed a range of global causes including the eradication of poverty and support for climate action.
Anna holds current indemnity insurance with the Psychologists Protection Society, is PVG approved by Disclosure Scotland and is registered with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO)
